Lets not forget how important usability is when you're looking for a job, your opportunities must be laid out in a way you can approach them. On engineer jobs, we drilled down from the top starting with "Engineers" and "Employers", two of the main kind of users for the site. A massive amount of text had to be fit on the homepage. and to solve this problem, we implemented a three tabbed interface to browse by, Discipline, State and City. These choices further drill down to reveal major categories of jobs and locales. The simplicity and attractiveness of the design will appeal to a large audience. Just what engineer jobs needed.
